When I started my Menopause, I felt alone, wanted to end my marriage, and I had lost my zest for life. Anybody that knows me knows I am a social butterfly, and now looking back, I feel the Menopause stopped me from being that. It became hard to even leave the house, and even the small things like talking to people became a real effort.
It was only when I started volunteering at my local stables, that I began to feel a sense of peace and well-being again. This was down to the horses and their gentleness and the support from everyone at the yard. Having this time away from normal day-to-day life, doing something else, with the people who are passionate about horses like I am, really helped me to find me again!
When I started HRT it wasn't one pill fits all, it took time to get the right combination for me, but now I'm in a good place. I have the passion to help others with support, understanding, and most of all, knowledge! With my experience of weight loss, healthy eating, and fitness, and all the research I have performed for my own wellbeing, I am ready to guide you.
My own menopause journey inspired me to create a safe, non-ridden equine wellness space for women. Through calm connection with horses, I can help women feel supported, informed, and more in tune with themselves during this powerful life transition.
